Stadtwerke Solingen GmbH operates, among other things, the Glüder waterworks for drinking water supply. This draws water from the Sengbachtalsperre, a drinking water dam. The current pump hall with four pumps is to be replaced by a state-of-the-art new building with sufficient space for the necessary pump systems as well as multifunctional rooms for employees and visitors.
