University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust are seeking expressions of interest for a public concession (The Public Sector Directive (Directive 2004/18) for works and services from suitably experienced and qualified providers to develop a leased plot of land adjacent to Hospital St Cross Rugby.

The interest from private entities is for the development (works) and operation (services) of a suite of theatres for public and private patients.

The lease will facilitate the construction of a new public and private patients theatre suite with supporting facilities to be built and operated by the successful bidder.

The successful bidder will be responsible for the design, build, finance and operation, which will be physically connected to Hospital St Cross Rugby. Accordingly, the design must be sympathetic to the design of Hospital St Cross Rugby and address construction and operating risk issues associated with the physical connection.
