Description of the project
Outer Perimeter Ørland Main Air Station consists of the three main elements:
— Outer Perimeter,
— Main access area,
— Alternative access areas.
A 13 kilometre long new outer perimeter shall be established around the entire air station. The perimeter is made up of a double fence, detection field, inspection road and vehicle hindering measures, which are first solved by a mound.
There are two parallel high fences at the outermost part of the perimeter. The outer one is a 2.5 m high lattice fence with three layers of barbed wire on the top. Where the inner fence is on uncompacted matter, there is 0.5 m high concrete foundation for adequate foundations for the fence posts.
