Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites Applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process for the proposed tender for the Supply and Delivery of Concrete Sleeper Components, namely;

— Lot 1: “Split nuts” or similar products from cold drawn free cutting steel.

— Lot 2: “Bell” washers or similar products.

— Lot 3: Steel “hairpin” bars or similar products from cold drawn and tempered high tensile steel Companies can apply for 1, 2 or all 3 lots.

Please note. The thread detail for items 1 and 3 are the intellectual property of P-Tec International GmbH and may only be used under licence.

The design for item 2 is the intellectual property of P-Tec International GmbH and may only be used under licence.

Contracts will be for a 3 year term with the option to extend annually for up to 2 additional years.

A Pre Qualification Questionnaire is attached to this notice and should be donwnloaded, completed and returned.

“Split nuts” or similar products from cold drawn free cutting steel (22 mm Hex Bar) to the following specification:

DIN 1 651:1970 9S Mn 28K.

Material Nº. 1.07 15.07.

Based on an estimated requirements of 120 000 per annum.

“Bell” washers or similar products to the following specification:

DD13 (EN10111) Continuously hot rolled low carbon steel sheet and strip for cold forming.

or.

DC04 (EN10130) Cold rolled low carbon steel flat products for cold forming.

Based on an estimated requirements of 120 000 per annum.

Steel “hairpin” bars or similar products from cold drawn and tempered high tensile steel to the following specification:

EN10138-2-Y1570-10 (DIN4227 ST1375/1570).

Based on an estimated requirements of: 190 Tonne per annum.
