The construction case deals with 122 homes spread over two blocks located on the Dat Schaub site, Storegade 88, Esbjerg. The blocks are of varying heights with 4 and 5 floors respectively. In one block is established community house on the ground floor. The blocks are traditionally built up with rear wall elements that are shell-walled. However sandwich elements are used at dovetaways. Floor decks are concrete elements. Windows are wood/alu. Roof is “flat” completed with cardboard. Heating is done via district heating (underfloor heating). Ventilation is done via decental plants. Total gross floor area is 10,600 m².
