Statsbygg requests tenders for consultancy service related to project economy for

Project 1004501 - UiO, the Life Science Building.

The Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research has commissioned Statsbygg to construct Norway's largest university building for

the University of Oslo (UiO) The project has since been changed and now also includes sections of the Clinic for Laboratory Medicine (KLM) at Oslo University Hospital (OUS). The building is a research and educational facility for life science as well as a building for clinical laboratory activities. The building project is situated at Gaustadbekkdalen Nord in Oslo. The site is 35,505 m2. The gross area of the building is almost 100,000 m2. The project is scheduled for completion in 2026. The cost frame for the construction project is NOK 12.5 billion (value in NOK by 1.7.2022).

A contract will be signed with one tenderer

The consultant will be the liable project economist for turnkey contracts in the construction project and project economist for the user equipment project. Financial management of contracts for the builder, both in regard to the construction project and the user equipment project. Tenderers must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a project economist or in an equivalent function. See the tender documentation and function description for further information.

The assignment will start in December 2023. However, Statsbygg is open for a gradual implementation in order to get the right person. This must be specified in the tender letter if relevant.
