ESF funding instrument no. 17 "Company educational support at vocational schools"

The contract to be awarded is aimed directly at (company) pedagogical support for young people at vocational schools and specifically addresses the challenge in Berlin that, despite vacant apprenticeships, numerous applicants cannot find a training company because they lack basic qualifications or the companies they don't trust the challenges of training.

The offers are therefore intended to provide measures for short-term to long-term individual work or support for disadvantaged young people (case management) in vocational training preparation or during school education, the creation of individual support and qualification plans in the interest of systematic design and documentation of skills acquisition and provide advice to companies on the implementation of the training modules or sequences of the training regulations (qualification, internship).

Support for pupils with obstacles to placement in upper secondary schools in Berlin

Lot 1 comprises a maximum of 415 participants in schools in accordance with Annex E.3 of the procurement documents and includes the support of pupils with obstacles to placement in Berlin upper level centers for placement in (if possible) dual training relationships through individual vocational training support from educational supervisors and an increased range of vocational qualification and training modules - particularly through internships in companies. This is to ensure that the further development of self-concepts required for the target group and the imparting of basic concepts relevant to training move more into the center of professional qualification and are essentially linked to professional content.

Lot 1 is 45% financed by the ESF (max: EUR 1 377 000.00). The state of Berlin is using teachers to implement the project, whose wage costs represent national co-financing.

Lot 2 comprises a maximum of 465 participants at schools in accordance with Appendix E.3 of the procurement documents and includes the support of pupils with placement difficulties in Berlin upper level centers for placement in (if possible) dual training relationships through individual vocational training support from educational supervisors and an increased range of vocational qualification and training modules - particularly through internships in companies. This is to ensure that the further development of self-concepts required for the target group and the imparting of basic concepts relevant to training move more into the center of professional qualification and are essentially linked to professional content.
