Transport equipment and auxiliary products to transportation. The ADATS Delivery Team has a requirement for the purchase of quantity 4 sets of mobilisers to enable safe transportation of the Tactical Watchman Cabin and Radar Scanner Pallet. The Mobilisers will be subject to the requirements of relevant UK Legislation: Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations and to the Road Vehicle (Construction and Use) Regulations. The mobilisers will be required to lift the Tactical Watchman Cabins to enable transportation over land, sea and air.

The requirement must:

Meet the ADATS Mobiliser Safety Case Requirements.

Service and upgrade the mobilsers as required.

Comply with Vehicles Construction and Use Regulations 1986 and the LOLER Regulations (entailing vehicle approval from VOSA).

In service Support to enable Design Authority resposnsibilities including Technical Publications management, obsolescence Management, Disposal Plan, Design Drawing updates, Safety Case updates and Training (this list is not exhaustive).

The mobilisers require an appropriate braking system that meets Statutory British Road Regulations.

The required support will be 3 years with 4 one year options.

The mobilisers must be able to lift in excess of 4 500kg.

Suitably qualified companies are invited to submit Expressions of Interest to the ADATS DT and comply with the following criteria:

Quality Assurance Certificate to ISO 9001:2000 or equivalent.

Abrief description of the company and previous experience in respect of the requirement, disclosing the names of organisations to which they have provided similar requirements, including service.

Expressions of Interest are to be submitted by Friday 7.9.2012.

The contract will be awarded on the most economically advantageous taking into account Technical Merit and overall value for money.
