The subject of this tender is the support of the nature conservation authorities in coordinating the Saarland-wide planning, as well as the Saarland-wide coordination and processing of maintenance and development measures mainly within the Saarland NATURA2000 and nature conservation areas and in technically justified individual cases also outside the areas within the scope of the available Funding for each calendar year (around EUR 200,000 / year).

The majority of the areas to be maintained are smaller areas / partial areas in the order of magnitude of less than 500 m 2 up to a maximum of 10 ha (larger areas only in special individual cases). The maintenance areas are often located in extreme locations (wetness, slopes, ditches), which means that execution can only be implemented by specialist companies with suitable equipment or farmers with suitable special machines and many years of experience in the processing of comparable areas.

The following partial project management services are the subject of this tender:

a) Implementation of coordination meetings, public relations and site inspections,

b) Execution of contracts in accordance with the currently applicable procurement guidelines,

c) order processing and monitoring,

d) Reporting and communication on areas with future further maintenance needs as well as suggestions for new potential maintenance areas.
