The municipality of Lem invites tenders for the winter maintenance of streets, yards and water supply and sewerage plant sites in the planned areas for the winter seasons 2023–2026, after which the contract can be extended on the original terms for 1 + 1 year (option) by decision of the client. Separate agreements will be made for possible option periods.
The acquisition is divided into three (3) subdivisions.
The sub-regions:
1. Street areas, real estate sites and water and sewerage plant sites in the village
2. Street areas in Kuukanniemi, which include the Juvola private road and Kokkotie/Juurisaho real estate sites and water and sewer plant sites
3. Iitikä street areas, real estate sites and water and sewerage plant sites
The winter maintenance of the Tapulinaukio area, which is part of the Church Village sites, is agreed upon separately with the service provider selected for the area. In this respect, maintenance is carried out using unit prices.
The winter season is 1.10.–30.4. If the weather conditions are exceptional, the contract period can be extended at one or both ends if necessary.
The procurement includes the winter maintenance of roads, streets, pedestrian and cycle paths, parking lots, property entrances and water supply and sewerage plant sites as defined in the appendices.
The areas presented in the map appendices and in the list of sites (Appendix 3) are divided into maintenance categories for streets, roads, pedestrian and pedestrian routes and yards, as well as parking spaces.
The levels of treatment categories are defined in Annex 4. In addition, Appendix 4 presents an illustration of the principles of winter maintenance of water and sewerage plant sites.
Winter maintenance includes snow removal and anti-slipperiness.
Polante removal and brushing as well as snow loading and removal with a separate order from the customer.
The tenderer's equipment must be suitable for each site and maintenance task.
The tenderer may offer one or more components. Offers are checked and compared by sub-area.
Winter maintenance is carried out as a unit price contract €/hour (VAT 0).
