Promotion of the establishment and operation of NGA broadband infrastructures for the development of underserved schools based on the so-called profitability gap model in Rheda-Wiedenbrück.
The subject of this tender is the commissioning of a company to set up and operate a next generation broadband infrastructure ("Next Generation Access" - "NGA") in the schools in Rheda-Wiedenbrück (hereinafter referred to as "client"), which are still under-served. The NGA network to be set up must ensure that the under-served schools in the expansion area are supplied with a bandwidth of at least 1 Gbit / s symmetrically. Insofar as the establishment and operation of such an NGA network in the expansion area cannot be depicted in a self-sufficient manner, the client is prepared to provide the private telecommunications company with a one-time, non-repayable investment grant to cover its economic gaps (so-called "economic gaps model").
