The Landschaftsverband Rheinland is carrying out a renovation and conversion of the educational area Luise-Leven-Schule Krefeld, Lobbericher Str. 18-20, 47839 Krefeld. It is a school with a focus on hearing and communication.

The area is divided into the following 4 buildings:

School building, daycare center, indoor swimming pool and playground toilet. Part of the measure are the school building and the daycare center. In addition, there is the execution of a 2-storey interim solution for the relocation of the school building and the daycare centre, which is to be placed on the football field and kept for the entire construction period.

The buildings were erected in the 1980s and have a ribbon-like façade structure of window levels and slate in the parapet area. The slate has been deteriorated for years and is now to be replaced by façade elements made of fibre cement in the course of the energy-efficient renovation. The windows and doors will also be replaced. The renovation of the façade affects the school building and the daycare center.

The two buildings will be renovated in a total of 3 construction phases from October 2023 to August 2026.

The property has an almost trapezoidal footprint. The property is accessed by Lobbericher Straße. The main entrance is on the

opposite side of the road. Parking spaces are available in the public traffic area

disposal.

The main access to the main entrance or schoolyard is also via the

Lobbericher Straße.

The school building has a gross floor area of 26,165.95 m³ and a gross floor area of 5,701.69 m²

The nursery has a BRI of 2,014 m³ and a gross floor area of 601 m²
