Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts is one of the UK's leading drama schools, with a long-standing and international reputation for providing the highest quality training. They have employed Focus Consultants to assist with their project to move from their current facility on Clarendon Road in London, to new premises.

The new facility should be a physical reflection of Mountview's vision to be a dynamic and engaging centre for excellence in the field of Performance Arts training. It will need to accommodate the Academy's current programmes in Acting, Musical Theatre, Production and Community Education as well as addressing their future aspirations for growth.

This contract will be let as a two stage Design and Build Contract with a Pre-Construction Services Agreement for the first stage leading into the JCT Major Projects Form of Contract for the delivery stage. The project is at Stage 2 at the moment and the indicative budget range for this contract is 14 000 000 GBP — 18 000 000 GBP excluding VAT.

The key objective is to appoint a contractor that will work in partnership with the Client and their Professional Advisors, to collaborate and share knowledge and experience throughout the life of the project to deliver the fit for purpose new home that Mountview deserves.
