Project planning traffic systems and engineering structures RRHB Lph 1 to 6 HOAI

The planning area covers the area of BAB A72 east of the Bavarian Vogtland motorway triangle in the west to the Bavaria/Saxony state border in the east. The A72 connects BAB A9 to the BAB A4 near Chemnitz in the west.

In the area of AD Bavarian Vogtland up to AS Zwickau East, the A72 is to be gradually expanded to an extended standard cross-section RQ 31 according to RAA with a respective road width of 12.50 m and a middle strip width of 4.00 m in order to provide 4+0s traffic for future construction measures as also ensure temporary side-strip release.

The planning section in question is located north of Hof. AS Hof-Nord and AS Hof/Töpen as well as AD Hochfranken are included in the planning.
