The agreement includes client consultancy in the form of tenant advice to UNICEF and the Danish Building and Property Agency (BYGST) in connection with CPH City & Port Development's construction of a new distribution centre for rent to UNICEF
Since 2010, UNICEF Supply Division has operated a central warehouse and administration from their current location on Oceanvej in Copenhagen's Nordhavn. Since its establishment at this address, UNICEF's activities have undergone considerable expansion, which is why current buildings and facilities have been continuously supplemented with office pavilions at the same address and with 'remote warehouses' at other addresses in Greater Copenhagen. Against this background, UNICEF has entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the establishment of a new and larger facility that can accommodate and support UNICEF's actual needs. This will constitute the world's largest humanitarian stockpile in the future, just as UNICEF's current facilities in Denmark are the world's largest humanitarian stockpile today. Subsequently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – with the Danish Building and Property Agency (BYGST) as operational commissioner – entered into an agreement with Udviklingsselskabet By & Havn I/S on the development and establishment of this new facility on a building site in Copenhagen's Outer Nordhavn. The new facility is called Campus 4.
UNICEF currently rents .ind of their current facilities in Campus 2 via the Danish state. The landlord is CPH City & Port Development. The same model with the same contractual partners is envisaged for the future Campus 4.
In order for the Danish Building and Property Agency to deliver on the above in the best possible way, there is a need for client advice in the form of rental advice to UNICEF and BYGST in connection with CPH City & Port Development's construction of a new distribution centre for rent to UNICEF, which is why this tender is sent out to be able to find the Danish Building and Property Agency's future rental consultant for the task.
