Zero Emission Office Building - Elevator Systems

HafenCity Hamburg GmbH plans to construct a new office building at the Dalmannkai site as zero

Issuing office building with a total gross floor area of approx. 8600m². The eastern basement of the zero emissions office building will be made available for the operation of a shore power system of the nearby cruise terminal.

The 1st - 5th floor is planned in timber construction with stiffening reinforced concrete cores (stairwells and elevator shafts). The ground floor is based on a support grid of reinforced concrete beams and reinforced concrete columns, the ceilings are designed as cross-laminated timber ceilings. The building is stiffened via the reinforced concrete cores. In addition to the two staircases, two elevators are provided in the building.

On the basis of the present planning, two elevator systems for vertical access will be provided in the building to the two stairwells. These are arranged next to stairwells 1 and 2. According to the state of the art, these elevator systems are to be designed and manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 81-20 / 50, DIN EN 81-70:18 and DIN 18040 as handicapped accessible rope hoists without a machine room.
