The MDR operates redundant content filters for the entire MDR at its Leipzig site. They are used to protect Internet access. The purpose of this tender is to replace the existing systems.
The subject of this call for proposals are:
- Delivery of products
- Hardware and software service over 3 years
- Implementation services
The purpose of this tender is to conclude a contract for the procurement of hardware and software components, services and subsequent three-year maintenance of the system on the basis of the applicable EVB-IT GTC's.
A powerful, centrally placed proxy bundle is to be used. It is planned to operate this in an active/active mode. The current policy is to be streamlined, cleaned up and transferred to the new cluster in cooperation with the MDR. In addition, a proxy solution is required for testing purposes, which must be installed on a virtual machine.
As part of the participation competition, it is avoided to publish maintenance-relevant existing technology and thus disclose IT security-critical infrastructures. In this context, the candidate accepts the confidentiality agreement as an annex to the request to participate. After reviewing all applications for participation received, all suitable applicants will receive the complete service description including the existing technology and thus the basis for the preparation of the offer.
Produktsetzung:
In the run-up to this tender, a market survey was carried out. The future system must meet the previous requirements and be extensible with regard to a cloud proxy function. The various products were evaluated in the areas of system, configuration and administration in terms of technical and operational requirements.
This market survey showed that only the 'Fortiproxy system' from the manufacturer Fortinet meets all the requirements. For this reason, we consider it justified to expressly prescribe the product to be delivered.
