The contract has as its object the assignment of the management of the library services of the Library System of Fano (Federiciana library and Montanari media library) and of the Service of Agenzia Giovani, for the period of three years with the right of renewal for a further three years. In particular, the contract has as its object the management and provision of library services of front office, back office, promotion of reading, activities with schools and continuous training throughout life, support for the management of IT services, management of paid services, support in the management of various library services, as well as for the Youth Agency service, the services of management area of opportunities for the new generations and the management of the information area and work orientation.

The Municipality of Fano, through the Library System of Fano, consisting of the Biblioteca Federiciana, historical library of conservation and public reading and the media library Montanari - Memo, multimedia library of general information, has among its primary objectives the satisfaction of the reading, information and training needs of citizens, as well as the protection and enhancement of its documentary heritage, ancient and modern, through the exercise of all the functions aimed at promoting the collections and ensuring the best possible use. The contract, in particular, aims to: a) maintain and / or increase the current quality standards of the SBF, also through greater efficiency and effectiveness of the management and organization of library services; (b) ensure work organisation that allows for flexibility, accessibility and the best cost-benefit ratio; c) bring library services closer to citizens through the ability to intercept their needs, to provide them with adequate answers by strengthening the information-training offer, an integral part of library services; d) manage Agenzia Giovani, a community information service (work and training) aimed at young people aged between 18 and 35 years.
