Raven Housing Trust have appointed a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to manage the risk of the legionella bacteria forming in water systems, through site based water hygiene risk assessment and monitoring, cleaning and disinfection of water storage tanks and systems, in compliance with the Approved Code of Practice (L8), and recognised current ‘best practice’ within properties under its control.

The Districts of Reigate and Banstead Borough Council, The London Borough of Sutton, Tandridge District Council, Mole Valley District Council, Epsom and Ewell Borough Council, Woking Borough Council, Crawley Borough Council, Mid Sussex District Council.
Scope of services include:
Temperature monitoring of communal Hot Water Storage Tanks (HWSTs) and sentinels.
Monitoring of communal showers.
Monitoring of cold water storage tanks, including inspection and sampling.
Monitoring of the condition of system and supplies of Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWSTs), communal Hot Water Storage Vessels (HWSVs), CWSTs and outlets.
Disinfection of Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWSTs) (communal Hot Water Storage Vessels (HWSVs), CWSTs, supplies and outlets.
Provision and maintenance of a full site risk assessments, including schematic plans of systems.
Review of risk assessments.
