The city of Teltow is currently sponsoring 3 primary schools with a total of approx. 1,200 pupils. In the next 5 years, the number of pupils will increase by up to 150. According to the Brandenburg School Act, school authorities must, in consultation with the schools, ensure that pupils in general schools up to grade 10 and in all-day schools on school days ( except Saturdays), can partake in a warm lunch at reasonable prices.

The subject of the tender is the provision of pupils at 3 primary schools sponsored by the city of Teltow with a healthy, child and age-appropriate lunch. The varied menu is offered in compliance with the general DGE quality standards for school meals.

Daily lunch is currently provided for a total of around 600 students in grades 1-6 (age group 5-12 years) on school days (Monday to Friday). During the holidays, around 140 pupils are currently cared for in the after-school care center (excluding closing times).
