Microsoft school licenses are to be procured for the IT equipment of school cabinets at Leipzig schools.

As a 90% subsidiary of the city of Leipzig, Lecos GmbH takes over the procurement of these licenses.

Lecos GmbH, as the contractor and holder of Microsoft contracts, is to centralize procurement; however, the licenses are used exclusively in the Leipzig schools. This procurement construct has already been positively tested by Microsoft and is in use.

For the client devices, the licenses are to be procured by joining FWU4.0. There is already an accession to the FWU4.0, which expires on 31.10.2022. As part of the call for tenders, the follow-up contract or the extension of the existing FWU4.0 for 12 months is therefore to be concluded.

Server licenses, on the other hand, are to be obtained as permanent licenses via an existing Select Plus Academic. The corresponding server pool of the contract is active. In addition, further calls can be made via this contract.

For the following contracts, the trading partner is put out to tender, through which all license purchases of these contracts are processed for a period of 12 months:
