First Ark is looking for a single contractor to provide passenger lift servicing and maintenance across a number of sites within the Merseyside and Knowsley area. Services required under this contract are expected to include monthly planned servicing/maintenance of passenger lifts, remedial repairs and emergency call outs as and when required.

The contract is expected to start 1.4.2014.

The outcome of the tender process will be a single contract with a single contractor. The contract will be an initial 4 year contract with 1 options to extend by a further 12 months up to a maximum 5 years total contract term, subject to First Ark requirements and the performance of the successful contractor.

Potential value is approximately GBP 70,000 (inclusive of VAT) per annum in total which covers for the combination of servicing, remedial maintenance and call-outs. No guarantees are given, nor are implied as to the value of works that will be placed with the successful contractor over the potential maximum 5 year period as future projections are estimates only at this stage. First Ark and other members of the group accept no liability for any inaccuracies in the estimates provided.

The contract will be available for use by all members of the First Ark Group. The form of contract to be used is provided in the supporting information section of this tender.
