General description for all trades
The German Pension Insurance Baden-Württemberg plans to fundamentally renovate the extension of the Karlsruhe headquarters, which was built in 1977.
The building is designed as a fully air-conditioned open-plan office building with two basement levels, three full floors (EC 2nd floor) and a saddle floor. The building has a GFA of approx. 18,370 m² and a BRI of approx. 72,240 m².
The extension is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton construction and has an aluminium glass façade in front, all-round escape balconies with an aluminium steel structure in front and two massive reinforced concrete escape stairwells on the east and west sides. Floors in the open-plan area are designed as coffered concrete ceilings in the core area as solid concrete ceilings.
The 3rd floor, which was built in 1995, consists of a lightweight, set-back steel construction with aluminum-glass cladding, the interior walls are mostly made of plasterboard support walls. As part of the measure, it is planned to dismantle the 3rd floor.
Description for the trade - sanitary installations, KG 410:
The tendered services include the production, delivery and assembly of:
-Complete renewal of the drainage system including lifting systems up to connection to existing collection or basic pipes (rainwater and dirty water).
-Cleaning the ground lines.
-Refurbishment of approx. 24 sanitary rooms and 13 kitchenettes. Among them, 12 sanitary rooms are equipped with the following items:
•Approx. 4 washbasins
•Approx. 4 toilets/urinals
6 sanitary rooms are equipped with the following items:
•Approx. 1-2 showers
•Approx. 1-2 sinks
The rest of the sanitary rooms are equipped with the following items:
•Approx. 1-2 sinks
•Approx. 1-2 toilet
-Delivery, installation and commissioning of drinking water systems such as reverse osmosis, water heaters with a storage volume of approx. 500 l, etc.
-Disassembly and proper disposal 2 x softening systems with a storage volume of approx. 5,000 l each.
