As part of the Replacement and Renovation (V&R) programme in which RWS renovates or replaces 100 objects, 8 tunnels in Zuid-Holland will also be renovated. This concerns the renovation and/or upgrade of the tunnel technical installations (TTI) and the systems for operation, control and monitoring tunnels (3BT). PTZ is one project and includes the renovation of the remaining 7 tunnels in the South Holland region, namely:

1. 1st and 2nd Benelux tunnel (to be considered in full as 1 tunnel);

2. 2nd Heinenoord tunnel;

3. North Tunnel (or Tunnel de Noord);

4. Sijtwendetunnel (Integral to be considered as 1 tunnel and consisting of three tunnels: 1. Parktunnel, 2. Vliettunnel, 3. Spoortunnel);

5. Drechttunnel;

6. Thomassentunnel;

7. Botlektunnel.

The Contractor must manage the assignment in an integral, controlled, explicit and transparent manner, in such a way that the work is realized in accordance with the information requirements in the demand specification and the service agreement.
