The Norwegian Post and Telecommunications Authority (PT) intends to enter into a contract for consultancy services in order to further develop PT's LRIC model for originating and terminating the public telephone service in a fixed network (markets 2 and 3). The aim of this assignment is to give PT an efficient tool when the authority shall assess future regulation of originating and termination in the fixed network. The assignment includes an update and further development of the LRIC model for the core network that was worked out by PT in cooperation with the tenderers of fixed telephony in the period 2009-2011, as well as assisting the authority in the implementation work.
