The Finnish Environment Institute (Syke) is asking for a tender for the dry docking of the oceanographic research vessel Aranda. Docking may take place during the period 2.-26.5.2023 or 26.6.-4.8.2023.

The Finnish Environment Institute is asking for a tender for the dry docking of the oceanographic research vessel Aranda in accordance with the tender request material during spring - summer 2023. Aranda has a DNV rating and sails under the Finnish flag. The main operating area of the vessel is the Baltic Sea.

The contracting parties are the Finnish Environment Institute Syke and the shipyard. Meriaura Oy acts as Syke's representative and ship host during docking. The contract template is the modified draft of BIMCO REPAIRCON (2018) attached to this invitation to tender.

During docking, work and measurements related to the reclassification, as well as other work, are carried out in accordance with the tendering documentation, with specifications of the work to be carried out as appendices. The shipyard and its subcontractors will deliver all the listed work as "turnkey" turnkey deliveries, unless otherwise specified in the specifications attached to this invitation to tender. The work to be performed is received by work phase or sub-entity, if the nature and verifiability of the work so require. The on-site inspections of the ship's reclassification to be carried out by the classification society shall be agreed and scheduled in cooperation with the client. The work is carried out within the yard's normal working hours, e.g. during the shipyard's working hours. from 07:00 to 16:00 local time.

Docking may take place during the period 2.-26.5.2023 or 26.6.-4.8.2023. On the last day of the agreed docking period, all work must be successfully completed.

The supplier must appoint one project manager who acts as a contact person for the client. The project language is Finnish, but all documentation is done in English.
