Supply of consumables and device systems for performing blood sugar measurements as a point of care test (POCT) including implementation and service of the device systems.
The clients and consumers are the following clinics:
- University Clinic Knappschaftskrankenhaus Bochum GmbH,
- Knappschaftskrankenhaus Bottrop GmbH,
- Knappschaftsklinikum Saar GmbH,
- Klinikum Vest GmbH,
- Bergmannsheil und Kinderklinik Buer GmbH,
- Klinikum Westfalen GmbH.
Knappschaft Kliniken Service GmbH (KKSG) is the awarding authority and contact point for the ongoing award procedure.
In the name and on behalf of the hospital companies involved, the KKSG concludes the contract in which the basic and uniform key points for the provision of services are specified. The clients are the respective hospital companies. The clients are not joint and several debtors. Billing and processing of the contract takes place between the individual hospital company and the service provider.
A minimum amount is not commissioned. For the contract, a maximum quota for test strips is set. The estimated annual volume of 543,850 can be exceeded by 30 percent in each case. The contract has a term of 48 months. The delivery period for the named clients begins on July 1, 2021 and ends on June 30, 2025.
The subject matter is an agreement on the supply of reagents and device systems for carrying out blood sugar measurement as a point of care test (POCT) including implementation and service of the device systems. The contractor must provide each client with suitable analytical equipment (POCT), reagents and consumables for the analyzes listed below:
- Determination of blood sugar in capillary blood,
- Determination of ketones in capillary blood.
If it is not possible to test both values with one analyzer, 2 POCT devices can also be provided.
The clients are under German supervision. It follows that the guidelines and standards valid in Germany must be complied with in a legally secure and verifiable manner. The reagents must be approved in Europe and marked with CE marking in accordance with EU regulation 765/2008.
User training by the contractor is an essential part of the service. The training courses are free of charge and serve to enable the client's staff to carry out the analyzes properly.
Implementation of an initial, site-specific induction and multiplier training (key user) on site. If follow-up training is required (e.g. for training new employees or for product updates), additional training courses will take place once a year for each client during the entire contract period. After consultation, training courses can also be carried out for the entire network on one date. Depending on the complexity, these can also be carried out via video conference.
The costs for all training courses are included in the offer price by the contractor and are settled by paying the prices specified in the tender. Further costs, travel / accommodation costs and other costs will not be billed separately.
