The offer relates to the collection and transport of recyclable materials, environmental boxes and clear plastic bags with batteries from private households and municipal institutions in the municipality of Tønder.

In addition to the collection task, the offer includes some additional services.

The contract period runs from 1.5.2020 to 31.8.2026 with the option of renewal for 2 x 1 year.

The collection task includes:

- Collection of recyclable materials from containers on 2 and 4 wheels, as well as individual bags: paper, cardboard, soft plastic (P3) and textiles, and metal, glass and hard plastic (MGP),

- Collection of hazardous waste, small electronics and batteries in environmental boxes,

- Collection of batteries in clear plastic bags (max. 4 liters) placed on the lid of the recycling bin.

The collection task does not include the collection of recyclable materials from fully and partially buried waste containers on waste islands around the municipality.

For single-family dwellings, 240 liters of two-chamber containers for recyclable materials are primarily used, with a division 60/40 to P3 (paper, cardboard, soft plastics and textiles (packaged in plastic bag)) in the large room and MGP (metal, glass and hard plastic) ) in the small room. Unused 240 liter containers are used to a limited extent, with the household choosing 2 separate containers instead of the two-part. Similarly, distributed 660 liter containers are used for P3 - mainly at retail properties and institutions.
