The object of the procurement is the delivery of disposable tableware and utensils related to the table setting and consumption of food and beverages as well as food preparation and packaging, for the use of the municipalities and city of South Karelia, as well as joint municipal authorities, communities and municipally-owned limited liability companies.

The participants in the procurement are the City of Lappeenranta, the municipalities of Taipalsaari and Luumäki, the Lappeenranta Parish Federation, Saimaan Tukipalvelut Oy and the South Karelia Joint Authority for Education.

The procurement exceeds the EU threshold. In procurement, one contract supplier is selected.

The procurement is not divided into parts, because the procurement entity consists of various disposable products, which are most appropriately ordered from one supplier.

The object of the procurement is the delivery to the Contracting Parties of disposable tableware and utensils related to the table setting and consumption of food and beverages as well as food preparation and packaging, on the terms specified in this invitation to tender and its appendices.

In procurement, one contract supplier is selected. The procurement is not divided into parts, because the procurement entity consists of various disposable products, which are most appropriately ordered from one supplier.

The aim is for the contract period to begin on 15.1.2024 and end on 14.1.2026. In addition, the contracting entity reserves the possibility to extend the contract for two (2) years after the actual contract period. The total duration of the actual contract period and option period is four (4) years.

The contracting entity decides on the use of the option option three (3) months before the end of the actual contract period. At the same time, negotiations are conducted with the contract supplier on possible changes to the contract, such as product changes or pricing changes in contract prices.

The contract price and the terms for changing the price are defined in Appendix 2 Draft agreement Catering and Take Away disposable products in section 7 Contract prices and payment terms.

If necessary, a follow-up meeting shall be held annually at a time mutually agreed between the Contracting entity and the Supplier.
