In 2016 the DG European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), in collaboration with Joint Research Centre (JRC) signed an Administrative Arrangement (AA) for which, the Disaster Risk Management Unit (JRC.E1) would help some Member States, as a pilot project to implement a national catalogue of natural disaster data collection. For the project purposes a maximum of 2 Member States will be chosen, following the first come first served rule, in case of similar candidatures. The project will cover a period of 14 months, at the end it is forecasted to deliver a final summary report and to hold a final dissemination workshop.
