AEB Amsterdam intends to reduce its CO 2 emissions in the context of the Amsterdam City of Energy Agreement. To this end, in October 2021, we want to apply for a SDE++ grant for the capture of CO 2 from the HRC's flue gases (approx. 440 ktons/year). The grant can be used for capture and subsequent transport storage in an empty gas field in the North Sea and possibly use in greenhouse horticulture in the summer: CCS vs. CCUS. To do this, AEB is looking for an executive who wants to carry out this work for 15 years. In Negometrix (Mercell Netherlands) it was already announced (ref. nr. 180365) that AEB will make a tender for the transport, storage and/or utilization of CO 2.
