Construction phase 2 Rodde (BA2) comprises the following main services:
- Production of the lock excavation pit (back-anchored or stiffened sheet piling pit with back-anchored underwater concrete base)
- New construction of the lock structure in seamless construction
- Construction of the two technical buildings
- Production and assembly of the two lock gates

- Production of the missing parts of the safety wall in the area of the future entrance area in the underwater including the associated grouting anchors
- Adaptation of parts of the offshore harbours into underwater and headwater and preparation of berths
- Excavation, partial demolition and refilling of the old Small Lock
- Completion of the open water pipeline Rodde including the inlet and outlet structure
- Separation by means of sheet piling dam and backfilling of the OVH of the old Great Lock
- Decommissioning, partial demolition and backfilling of the old Great Lock as well as demolition of the old Great Lock Bridge
- Extensive dewatering measures in the course of dredging and sheet piling work in the sealed OVH including groundwater monitoring and documentation of measurement results
- Expansion and operation of the transshipment point and land management area in Bevergern
- Operation of the transshipment point and deposit area Dörenthe
- Technical processing including preparation of all documents required for the execution and commissioning of the lock
