Fastighetsservice is responsible for new construction, reconstruction, adaptations and modernization as well as maintenance mainly as a construction contract according to AB 04 or a turnkey contract according to ABT 06.

To help, Fastighetsservice uses contracted consultants with specialist knowledge in relevant specialist areas. This procurement relates to;

• Two (2) installation design companies with plumbing incl. sprinkler and control and energy declaration and electricity incl. tele/data/fire alarm and elevator.

The consulting assignments mainly involve assignments linked to other changes , (redevelopment), of care facilities. Assignments for new construction may also occur. Care facilities are "purpose-built premises" where the processes of the operations are most important and where the premises are one of several resources for the business. The premises are usually equipped with complicated installation technology with very high demands on function and availability. The premises must be designed to support various healthcare activities in all respects.
