Procurement of a new Next Generation Firewall solution, including maintenance, support and related services

The Hospital Future Act (KHZG) is advancing digitization in the healthcare sector. In the course of this, IT security must also be further expanded so that critical, system-relevant IT infrastructures are protected in the best possible way. V. intends to procure a new Next Generation Firewall solution to strengthen company-wide IT security as a corresponding measure within the framework of the funding opportunities of the Hospital Structural Fund Ordinance (KHSFV) in compliance with the legal requirements and requirements of the procurement regulations. The tender covers the procurement, installation and commissioning of the solution tendered here. This also includes integration and services in the context of implementation, such as support in the design, software setup, documentation, training, care, maintenance and support of the solution during the contract period in the four clinics of St. Bonifatius Hospitalgesellschaft and the connected remote locations. The solution is to be integrated into the IT security architecture of the hospital network, both technically and in terms of processes. Compliance with the MUST requirements from the BSI basic protection module NET.3.2 Firewall is mandatory. The project aims to increase the security and efficiency of the network infrastructure by providing the NGFW with a robust and modern security solution and empowering the internal IT team through training to effectively manage the system and proactively manage potential security threats.
