a requirement of 16 hours per week is expected:
General strategy consulting
- Regular coordination with the client within the framework of a (for the time being) 14-day period
Editorial conference/ usually digital, if necessary on site in the premises of the client.

- Development of a news and communication concept as well as a social media strategy (identification of topics, target groups, channels...)
- Advice on crisis communication and support in setting up suitable structures
General PR and press relations
-Science communication: Writing journalistic content and, if necessary, graphic
Prepared in English and German
- Press releases/launches in suitable print and online media
- Creation of print publications of any kind. Art up to prepress according to the corporate design specifications of the MPG
- Exchange with PR actors of the (project) partners of the HLL, e.g. other Max Planck
Institutes and General Administration, Munich-Quantum-Valley or other universities
and research institutions.
- Communication with service providers, e.g. photographers, printers, design agencies, event service providers
Online/Social Media
For everyone: topic identification, content creation and/or graphic design
- Website https://www.hll.mpg.de/ (specifically: editorial revision of existing content)
- Social media management (e.g. strategy, creation and maintenance of accounts) in English and German
- Intranet (HLL-internal and MPG-wide news)
Event Planning/ Event Management
Support in the planning of the opening ceremony of the new building in Garching, planned
for the end of 2024
- Support for other events such as Open Day, Girls' Day,
o.ä.
- Communication with external (event) service providers
- As well as MPG internal coordination (general administration and other institutes involved)
