A Dynamic Procurement System has been chosen for the following reasons: the DAS is suitable for common purchases of services, the characteristics of which due to the general availability on the market meet the needs of The UMCG.
The work to be performed qualifies as a service, in fact, the definition of "NGS Sequencing" used by UMCG is as follows:
With this, the work falls under the CPV codings that qualify the work as a service:
- Laboratory Services 71900000-7
71000000-8 Architectural, engineering, civil engineering and inspection services
71900000-7 Laboratory Services
71900000-7 Laboratory Services
71900000-7 Laboratory Services
- Research laboratory services 73111000-3
73000000-2 Research and development, and related consultancy services
73100000-3 Research and experimental development services
73110000-6 Performance of research services
73111000-3 Research laboratory services.
The UMCG wishes to establish a DAS for Sequencing Services for the purpose of research. The goal is to issue requests for proposals for the following Sequencing Services during the term of the DAS:
Supplier can perform NGS sequencing with at least one of the following specifications:
Can perform Metagenomic sequencing
Can perform Single cell sequencing
Can sequence microbiome RNA samples
Can sequence low input samples (0.05 ng/ul for metagenomes, pg for virome)
Can sequence using adapters that allow identification of single stranded sequences
Can perform at least mid-output fragmentation of the DNA samples using sonication (for example, in batches of 96)
Can perform samples washing/concentration using beads in a high-throughput manner
Can generate at least 4GB of data per sample
Can perform long-read sequencing with Oxford nanopore
Can perform NGS sequencing with new technique (non of the above)
