The BundesInnungskrankenkasse Gesundheit – BIG direkt gesund for short – is Germany's first statutory direct health insurance fund and is open nationwide. BIG currently serves around 513,000 insured persons throughout Germany (as of December 2021). More than 920 employees work at the headquarters in Dortmund, the legal headquarters in Berlin and the customer centers. The subject of the tender is the conclusion of contracts for maintenance cleaning at various locations of BIG direkt gesund and the provision of a service staff at the Dortmund location. The services are divided into 4 regional lots.

For the headquarters of BIG direkt gesund in Dortmund with currently about 660 employees, the client is re-tendering the maintenance cleaning service as of 01.01.2023 due to the end of the term of the current contract.

The big is located in Dortmund at Rheinische Straße 1, directly at the intersection Königswall - Kampstr. - Hoher Wall - Rheinische Str. (underground station Westentor), on the site of the Dortmunder Unionsbrauerei (Dortmunder U). The BIG has rented the entire building (ground floor – 6th floor plus basement), parts of the premises are sublet by the BIG. The building was completed in 2010 as a new building and consists of a basement, seven upper floors and an attic. The order includes the maintenance cleaning of approx. 12,000 sqm of floor space of an office building for over 660 employees with offices, meeting rooms, elevators, a reception hall, corridors, sanitary areas, tea kitchens and staircases. The order also includes the provision of a service force for service and cleaning activities and the provision of consumables, especially for the sanitary areas.

For the location of BIG direkt gesund in Aachen with currently about 170 employees, the client is re-tendering the maintenance cleaning service as of 01.01.2023 due to the end of the term of the current contract. The big is located in Aachen at Hüttenstr. 1 in the Aachen industrial estate, Rothe Erde. The BIG has rented the entire building (ground floor – partly 3rd floor). The building was built around 1887 and is a listed building. Floors 2 and 3 are not accessible by lift. The order includes the maintenance cleaning of approx. 3,000 sqm of floor space of an office building for over 170 employees with offices, meeting rooms, outdoor elevator, customer center, corridors, sanitary areas, kitchens and staircases. The order also includes the provision of consumables, especially for the sanitary areas.

For the offices of BIG direkt gesund in Eschweiler (3 employees), Jülich (8 employees),

Düren (8 employees), Bergisch Gladbach (2 employees) and Wuppertal (12 employees), the client is re-tendering the maintenance cleaning service as of 01.01.2023 due to the end of the term of the current contract. The order includes maintenance cleaning in five branches with a floor area of:

Düren: approx. 210 sqm Jülich: approx. 260 sqm Wuppertal: approx. 230 sqm Bergisch Gladbach: approx. 230 sqm Eschweiler: approx. 300 sqm These are commercial buildings with offices, lifts, corridors, sanitary facilities, etc.

The order includes the maintenance cleaning of approx. 500 sqm of floor space on the 5th floor of an office building with other offices, meeting rooms, corridors, sanitary areas and kitchenette with coffepoint. The order also includes the provision of a dirt trap mat, hygiene containers and consumables, especially for the sanitary areas.
