The city of Bayreuth is currently planning to expand the Bayreuth sewage treatment plant. 82,500 inhabitants are connected to the sewage treatment plant, as well as industrial and commercial enterprises related to wastewater. In preparation for the measure, a concept planning was carried out and variants were examined. Divided according to priorities, four planning packages, connected in time, are to be realized. The present package A is to be implemented by 2028, further packages by 2040. Package A accounts for total costs of approximately EUR 37.53 million gross. The present tender covers structural design for the following buildings/structures: energy center (new, approx. 13,000m² uR), social buildings (new, approx. 15,600 m² uR), energy storage (new, V = 2 x 4,000 m³) and installation walkway.

Execution is to take place in 2 construction phases: BA 1 (energy center/company building), commissioning planned 03.2025 and BA 2 (energy storage/gas system), 24 months, commissioning planned 03.2028.

The basic services of the Structural Design Service Profile, Work Phases 3-6 are commissioned (see §§ 49-52 HOAI in conjunction with Appendix 14). Special services are also commissioned.
