The scope of this assignment concerns the road link between the Industrial Park Moerdijk and the Logistic Park Moerdijk, including both intermediate works of art and adaptations and connections to the current (traffic) structures.
Command Description
The province of North Brabant wants to offer large-scale Value Added Logistics (VAL) companies in a suitable, large-scale, multimodal location in West Brabant. The Provincial Implementation Plan of the Logistic Park Moerdijk (LPM) was declared irrevocable by the Council of States in September 2020. The LPM is intended for large-scale VAL companies, larger than 5 hectares and VAL companies that are port related regardless of their size. The province has asked the Port Authority to undertake the further development, realisation and management of the LPM and its internal job.
The scope of this assignment concerns the road link between the Industrial Park Moerdijk and the Logistic Park Moerdijk, including both intermediate works of art and adaptations and connections to the current (traffic) structures.
The Work “Internal Job and Civil Works of Art LPM” includes:
- The new internal lane road connection
- A bridge over the Roode Vaart
- A viaduct over the A17 state road
- Earth lanes and grounding facilities
- Adaptation of existing roads
The exact scope of the Work follows from the Demand Specification Requirements. This demand specification is part of the tender file.
On the south-east side of LPM, the construction of a bicycle bridge over the A16 is foreseen. This bicycle bridge is not initially part of this question, but can be added as an optional part to the scope at a later stage.
