Renewal of the catenary system as part of the project Basic renovation of the Mainz Gonsenheim-Finthen tram network between the stops “municipal border” and “Roman source” - deliveries and installation work for the renewal of the catenary system

The subject matter of the procurement procedure presented here is the deliveries and installation services for the renewal of an overhead line system in MVG's rail network.

From the Gedungsgrenze stop to the Römerquelle reversing loop, the existing catenary system (single-contact line) is dismantled and replaced by a new overhead line system (high-chain contact line/single-contact line). Driving operations on this branch of the line will be discontinued for the assembly work. The straight branch at the municipal crossover towards the Wendeschleife Poststraße stop remains in operation. Here, operation is only temporarily discontinued for the conversion of the switch.
