Leisure activities/sports services in the city of Keuruu apply for a customer-service entrepreneur who will take charge of Keuruu Swimming Pool's coffee operations and ticket sales. The coffee business is run as the entrepreneur's own business, for which purpose the City of Keuruu leases the entrepreneur's coffee facilities. Ticket sales for the swimming pool are carried out as a purchasing service. Operations are scheduled to begin in August 2021.
The number of visitors to the swimming pool has been around 80,000 to 90,000 customers a year. The swimming pool is open to guests on about 300 days a year between August and the end of June. In June, the swimming pool will only be open in the morning and swimming schools will focus on that. In June—July, annual maintenance is performed in the hall and summer holidays for the staff are held.
The entrance hall of the swimming pool contains a ticket cashier and a coffee, which requires one (1) operator to take care of. Ticket sales are handled during the opening hours of the swimming pool (opening hours below). The ticket sales cashpoint will be closed one hour before the hall closes time. The coffee is open to guests during the opening hours of the swimming pool. The entrepreneur can also keep the coffee open outside the opening hours of the swimming pool, at which point it is agreed with the swimming pool supervisor. The city of Keuruu furnishes the swimming pool ticket outlet.
Ticket sales duties include e.g.
— Sales of ticket items in the swimming pool with a cashpoint sales device (Pusatec)
— renting swimming accessories and selling pephlets
— settlement of ticket sales money and exercise vouchers according to the contract
— customer advice and other customer service.
Swimming pool coffee
The City of Keuruu will make available to the entrepreneur in the immediate context of the ticket outlet, coffee and kitchen facilities furnished for coffee operations, totalling c. 95 m
