Recycling of used textiles, old shoes and bed feathers from private households in the city of Chemnitz (01.01.2024 - 31.12.2024)

The object of the service to be offered is the provision of the transport units for filling the collection quantity, the acceptance, transport, treatment, sorting, preparation for reuse or proper and harmless, as high-quality recycling as possible, the recovery of the unsorted collection quantity of used textiles, old shoes and bed springs (with ticking) from private households in the city of Chemnitz as well as the disposal of non-recyclable portions of the collected quantity. In accordance with the Act to Promote the Circular Economy and Ensure the Environmentally Sound Management of Waste (Closed Substance Cycle Management Act - KrWG), a possible reuse of used clothing (second hand) takes precedence over other recycling processes.

For the avoidance of doubt, it should be noted that the sale, trading or brokering of the used textiles, shoes and bed springs (with ticking) from private households of the city of Chemnitz covered by the ASR are not the subject of the tendered service. Likewise, the collection of used textiles, old shoes and bed feathers is not the subject of the tender.

The total quantity of used textiles, used shoes and bed springs comprises approx. 550 t in the contract period.

Furthermore, quantity deviations from the total quantity in the order of up to +/- 10 % are possible. The takeover of the used textiles, used shoes and bed springs in the specified quantity, including the possible excess quantity, must be secured by the bidder.
