Treatment and recycling of biowaste from households of the city of Chemnitz (01.01.2024 to 31.12.2025)

The object of the service is the acceptance, treatment and recycling, including the disposal of existing contaminants, of organic waste from private households of the city of Chemnitz (AVV 20 03 01*) (separately collected organic waste) and 20 02 01 (green waste)).

Biowaste includes:

• the organic waste from private households collected and collected separately via the organic waste bin in the city of Chemnitz (Holsystem);

• the organic waste collected in (paper) green waste bags (delivery system) and in 30 m³ containers (collection system, in particular grass clippings and leaves);

• the filled seasonal leaf bags recorded in the collection system seasonally from 15/9 to 15/12 of a calendar year (collection with emptying of the organic waste bin);

• the organic waste/green waste loosely collected via a delivery system at the recycling centres (in particular tree, shrub, hedge clippings, bulky plants such as bamboo, reeds, sunflowers).
