Enrichment of corporate customer data with employment figures.

At present, the AOK manages around 1.3 million employers in all size categories and sectors with around 30 million employees (as of 1.1.2015). Employers are important business partners for the AOK because they share the health insurance contribution of their employees. According to § 13 SGB I, the AOKs have a legal duty to inform.

The AOK regularly informs companies with employees subject to social insurance or their personnel managers or decision-makers about specialist social insurance topics, current topics in social policy, the economy and the world of work as well as health and workplace health promotion. An important aspect here is to sharpen the value of the partnership between corporate clients and the AOK and to strengthen the sales benefits.

The size of the enterprise is necessary in the provision of corporate customer information and the selection of appropriate measures, for example in the field of workplace health promotion. Industry-specific and farm-size-related concepts allow efficient and resource-saving care and appropriate information for the benefit of the insured.

To support regional corporate customer reports, the participating AOKs receive a delivery of their employees twice a year.
