The project includes the construction of a viewing facility in connection with the construction of the Fehmarnbelt link. The present invitation to tender concerns the conclusion of a main contract with one company concerning the tender for a viewing facility ("Pilen") at Rødbyhavn.
The project includes the construction of a viewing facility in connection with the construction of the Fehmarnbelt link. The project will give the public the opportunity to follow the construction work of the Fehmarnbelt link. The project is located at the end of Gamle Badevej (Rødbyhavn) and will be located between the future tunnel portal and the existing observation tower at Rødbyhavn. The project consists of a publicly accessible footbridge located on a bridge part and an existing dam, respectively, as well as an access path from the existing parking lot on Gamle Badevej.
In general, the tenderer's services will consist of providing and incorporating a viewing facility shaped like an arrow:
• Footpath construction on embankment
• Cantilevered path/bridge construction. Path on glulam timber structure supported on wooden decks and path demarcation (willow boundary) in steel supported by steel girders, steel columns and pile foundation
• Concrete worker
• Membranarbejder
• Earthworks
• Electrical worker
This is a re-tender of previous tenders by tender notice 2023/S 070-207586 with a number of changes to the project with cost-saving measures. Overall, the changes consist of most piles on the dam being removed and replaced by directly based foundations. Precast concrete beams on the embankment are deleted and replaced by concrete slabs on terrain. Lighting fixtures are being discontinued. Oak planks on paths are replaced with heat-treated wooden planks. In addition, a number of general clarifications have been made in the tender documents.
