The aim of the work is to renew the asphalt cover on roads, streets, pavements, foot and cycle paths that are managed by the contracting authority. Laying red asphalt in cycle lanes/cycle boxes is included in the assignment.

The aim of the work is to renew the asphalt cover on roads, streets, pavements, foot and cycle paths that are managed by the contracting authority. The work includes the necessary preparatory work such as resetting of curbs and other necessary and appropriate actions in relation to resurfacing.

Laying red asphalt in cycle lanes/cycle boxes is included in the assignment. The description of the purpose and extent is not exhaustive. A detailed description of the processes included in the assignment is in annex 1. Requirement specifications.

The contracting authority will prioritise main roads/feed roads within the ordinary budget volume. In addition there can be additional work based on the submitted prices for the main tender and otherwise on the same terms.

The ordinary budget was approx. 50 000 000 NOK on the day the competition notice was published. There is as yet no knowledge of the size of any additional funding for the 2017 asphalt budget.

As a starting point, the service shall be carried out in the period 18.5. 2017 — 31.12.2017.
