The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) is moving. The current location in Bilthoven will be exchanged for a new building on the Uithof in Utrecht. Unfortunately, the time of completion of the new building is uncertain.

In principle, the completion of the new building would take place around 2019-2020 with a possible relocation in 2021. Due to the causes mentioned above, it was communicated in mid-September 2022 that the new building will not be completed before 31 December 2024/2025. This means that departments must continue to carry out their (laboratory) work at the Bilthoven location for longer than planned.

The tender concerns the establishment of the SMA laboratories.
