Planning services for the renovation and modernization of the Minnigerode house in Alsfeld, including the design of the surroundings with courtyards and Neurathscheune
The Minnigerodehaus is part of the Alsfeld Museum, which still consists of the Neurathhaus, the Neurathscheune and the associated courtyards.
From the middle of 2019 to April 2020, the Minnigerode house was completely cleared of all museum objects. Since the end of April 2020, dismantling work has been taking place on partition walls, other clearing work and the first exposures on and in front of load-bearing construction parts, which have now been completed. A concrete slab on the top floor of the building was dismantled in September and shows enormous damage to the load-bearing ceiling structure. From the beginning of October 2020, depending on the construction clearance, final preliminary examinations followed on the building fabric with reports that are now available.
The Neurathscheune is located in the backyard and was completely renovated in the 1970s. The courtyards are laid out like terraces and bordered with massive walls.
An open space design is also planned.
