The North Middlesex University Hospital Trust has a requirement for the supply and installation of a dual-mode linear accelerator that is capable of delivering complex static and rotational intensity modulated radiotherapy treatments under MV and kV imaging guidance. Third party items including quality control, quality assurance and rotational intensity modulated radiotherapy treatment planning equipment are required to be supplied with the dual-mode linear accelerator.

The Trust also has a requirement for the supply and installation of a kV imaging system to an existing dual-mode linear accelerator fitted with MV imaging system thus enabling the delivery of intensity modulated radiotherapy treatments under MV and kV imaging guidance.

The solution should demonstrate compatibility and integration with the existing oncology management system, quality assurance requirements and other systems within the Trust’s radiotherapy service.

The provision shall also include a full OEM service contract, with first line maintenance being undertaken by the Trust.
