One Leisure St.Ives Outdoor Centre (Huntingdonshire District Council ) currently own and manage both artificial pitches at site (One Sand filled hockey pitch and one full size 3G artificial pitch). The sand filled hockey pitch is beyond its life span and needs replacing, Funding for this replacement has come direct from HDC Capital funds and CIL Funding follow applications for both. The current 3G pitch is also in need of replacing and had a sinking fund in place to help cover the cost of its replacement. With the winter season starting at the end of September all works will need to be completed no later than 1st October 2023.

The works required include

a. The complete removal of the current sand filled surface, assessing the shock pad and installing a new sand dressed surface with new shock pad (If required). The carpet must be accredited by the FIH.

b. The complete removal of the current 3G ATP surface, assessing the base and installing new shock pad and 3G ATP surface.
